The 6th gen accord for instance has some soft touch material around the dash control panels however the upper dash is all hard plastic. I was disappointed with the interior of the 6th gen, the 01 accord compared with an 01 camry has much more hard plastics, the entire dash of the 01 camry is all soft touch.

308 posts · Joined 2013. #14 · Sep 14, 2013. Hands down the the 9 Gen sedan is better than the 8 Gen. Now back to the coupe, the 9 Gen interior is very nice easily beating the 8 Gen. The wrap around bumper on the 8 Gen looks better IMHO, but the hood of the 9 Gen looks better. For the exterior it's a tough call.
